Artwork by Amarande Guzmán/ poem by Rafael Sandiego
A billion dollars more
trillion dollars or less
A trillion dollars saved
to buy death,
more dead slaves.
The men are worthless
women, the elderly,
much less in this game
Aberrated, to create fun
to those, merchants of misery
where everything is lost
return flow
tears dry, ears burst
Women desecrated
bombs defacing children, lives
to earn a dollar, an euro
to sell more oil,
to meet a mad man
who whispers in small type:
To exploit the misfortune
to prick the conscience
let the bullets bleed
that time is money
Oh! and a bonus
medals, in exchange for crosses
unnamed.
Ravage my fate and yours ...
These war games ...
